Terms of Service

These terms govern services provided by Camino Systems LLC. By paying a deposit or accepting these terms at checkout, you agree to them.

Last updated: September 20, 2026

1. Who we are

Camino Systems LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in Florida, United States. Contact: rmontufar@caminosystems.co, (813) 825-1030.

2. Services and scope

We provide website design and build services, custom software development, ongoing website care plans, and fixed-fee advisory work. Every engagement is defined by a written scope of work stating the deliverables, the fixed price, and what is excluded. The written scope controls. Anything not listed in it is out of scope and will be quoted separately before any work on it begins.

3. Advisory and review engagements

We also provide fixed-fee advisory work: audits, readiness reviews, and diagnostic reports. These are not builds and are not care plans, and they are defined entirely by their written scope of work, which states the deliverable, the fee, and what is excluded.

  • The fee is payable in full at the start and is not a deposit. The 50%/50% build schedule in section 4 does not apply to advisory work.
  • Credits. Where a scope states that the fee is credited against a later engagement, the credit applies only to the engagement named in that scope, and only within the window that scope states.
  • Cancellation. If you cancel before work begins, the fee is refunded less the payment processor's transaction fee, which the processor does not return to us. Once work begins, the fee covers the work performed and you receive the findings completed to that point, in writing.
  • Timing. Timelines for advisory work run from the date we are granted the access the scope requires, not from the date of payment. Where access is delayed, the review is paused and we tell you what is outstanding.
  • What you keep. The written report is yours whether or not you engage us for anything further.

4. Fees and payment

All prices are in US dollars (USD).

  • Build fee. 50% is due before work begins; the remaining 50% is due at launch. Work begins once the deposit clears.
  • Care plan. Billed monthly in advance. Billing starts at launch, not at signing. A payment method is collected at signing and is not charged for the care plan until the site is live.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Prices are fixed as quoted. We do not run promotional or limited-time pricing.

5. Delivery

Build timelines are estimated in the written scope and depend on you supplying content, access, and approvals. Some steps depend on third parties whose timing we do not control, including domain registrars, DNS propagation, email providers, and Google Business Profile verification. We do not guarantee a date for any step controlled by a third party.

A build is complete when the agreed deliverables are live and verified, including confirmation that the contact form delivers to your inbox.

6. Cancellation and refunds

  • Before work begins. If you cancel before we start, the deposit is refunded less the payment processor's transaction fee, which the processor does not return to us.
  • After work begins. The deposit covers work performed and is non-refundable once the build has started. If you cancel mid-build, no further build fee is owed and you receive the work completed to that point.
  • Care plan. Cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. There is no exit fee and no minimum term. We do not refund partial months.
  • If we cannot deliver what was agreed, we refund the portion of the build fee covering undelivered work.

7. What the care plan includes

  • Hosting, SSL, and uptime monitoring.
  • A real test message sent through your live contact form each month, from an account outside your own email.
  • Security, dependency, and performance maintenance.
  • A monthly report on how the site is doing, read and sent by a person.
  • Content updates: the number of monthly requests stated in your care-plan scope. One request is a batched set of changes to existing pages, delivered within 2 to 3 business days. Unused requests do not roll over. New pages, redesigns, new integrations, and photography are quoted separately.
  • Urgent factual corrections (a wrong phone number, wrong hours, or a wrong price) are fixed immediately and never count against your monthly requests.

8. Support and response times

We commit to a response time, not a resolution time, because some fixes depend on third parties we do not control.

  • Response within 1 business day.
  • Urgent issues: response the same business day. Urgent means the site is down, the contact form is not delivering, the site is flagged unsafe, or a published fact is wrong: that is, the business is losing money or publishing something false right now.
  • Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time. Requests received outside those hours are treated as received at the next business day's open.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Supply accurate business facts. We publish only what you confirm; if a fact changes and you do not tell us, the site keeps saying the old thing.
  • Supply testimonials or reviews only with the customer's permission. We will not publish a review that was not given.
  • Keep your own domain, email, and account logins recoverable.
  • Provide content, access, and approvals in reasonable time.

10. Ownership

You own your domain, your Google Business Profile, your business email, and your social accounts. They are registered in your business's name. We hold manager or administrator access only so that we can perform the work, and you may revoke that access at any time.

On full payment, you own the website content and the custom source code produced for you. We retain ownership of our own pre-existing tools, libraries, and internal methods, and may reuse general knowledge and techniques.

11. No performance guarantees

We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic volumes, lead counts, revenue, or the timing of any third-party approval. Search engines and listing providers control their own results and review processes. Any projection we discuss is an estimate, not a commitment.

12. Confidentiality

We keep your business information confidential and do not publish client names or identifying project details without your written permission.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from an engagement is limited to the amount you paid us for that engagement in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.

14. Termination and exit

Either party may end a care plan at any time with notice effective at the end of the current billing month. Within 14 days of the end of your final billing month we will: transfer hosting to an account you control or export the site for a developer of your choosing; hand over the source code and analytics history; deliver every credential we hold and delete our copies; remove our access from everything you own; and confirm in writing that our access is gone. There is no fee for leaving.

Steps that require your participation (such as receiving a hosting transfer into an account you must create) depend on you completing your part. We will have our side ready within the 14 days regardless.

15. Restrictions

We provide services to customers in the United States. We do not provide services to individuals or entities in jurisdictions subject to United States sanctions or export restrictions, and we do not build systems for uses prohibited by applicable law or by our payment processor's restricted-business policies.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

17. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you accepted them governs your engagement. Material changes will be communicated to active clients.

18. Website imagery

Some scenic images, diagrams and short video loops on this website are AI-generated illustrations used as decoration. Screenshots of software and websites shown on this site are real captures of the products and sites named beside them.
